Audit for the Programmes

The process for the preparation of Programmes for Development of the Planning Regions 2015-2019 was started

The Ministry of Local Government with the support of GIZ RED programme for R. Macedonia started the process of preparing programmes for development of the planning regions for the period 2015-2019.

The first workshop for review and preparation of programmes for planning regions was held on 19 August 2014, in Skopje, attended by the heads of the 8 (eight) Centers for Regional Development in Macedonia and employees in the Centers responsible to coordinate process review / preparation of the programmes, representatives form the Ministry of Local Government, Bureau of regional Development, GIZ RED programme and appointed experts involved in the process of preparation.

The revision of the programmes will be implemented in accordance with Law for equal regional development (Official Gazette 63 / 07,187 / 13), Rulebook for the methodology for for preparation of the planning documents for regional development (Official Gazette: 102/09) and the Strategy for regional development the Republic of Macedonia 2009-2019 (Official 119/09) and revision of the Strategy.

The programmes for development of the planning regions are defined with:

• Goals for development of the planning region,
• Measures and incentives for development of the planning region,
• Measures and incentives for development areas with specific development needs
• Financial resources, time frame and indicators for the implementation of measures for encourage the development of the planning region,

In the Programme development priorities of the region and areas with specific development needs are defined. The Programme is the basics for the preparation of plans of local government units in the area of ​​their economic, social, ecological, cultural and other development.
