The Fund for Innovation and Technological Development together with the Center for Development of the East Planning Region, the Municipality of Stip and the Regional Chamber of Commerce, organized an info session on the Public Call for Financing Projects for Reduction of Air Pollution in the Urban Areas in the Republic of Macedonia – O2 CHALLENGE : //www.fitr.mk/O2predizvik/)
The information session was held on 21.11.2017 (Tuesday) at 13:00, in the closed part of the Council Hall in the Municipality of Stip.
The O2 Challenge provides a wider range of competitors to engage with their ideas in addressing air pollution in urban areas, and at the same time is a pilot project for designing and introducing a new Instrument for Innovation and Technological Development Fund for organizing competitions and challenges for finding innovative solutions of social interest.
The O2 challenge is intended for micro, small and medium-sized enterprises that want to develop an innovative product, service or process, alone or in cooperation with an institution that conducts higher education or research, business and / or association.
The total budget for the O2 challenge is 6.000.000 denars. The reward will be made in accordance with the ranking of the project proposals until the total amount of the budget is exhausted.
For the O2 challenge, the Fund provides funding of up to 90% (ninety) percent of the total budget for the project proposal. The remaining amount of the total project budget is provided by the competitor.
The registration of the O2 Challenge takes place as of November 30, 2017, until 11:59 pm.
Only those projects that are filled in the forms defined for the O2 challenge by the Fund, submitted in the above manner and within the given deadline, will be considered for financing.
The event was attended by representatives from: micro, small and medium enterprises / associations, NGOs, municipalities from the East Planning Region, Center for Development of the East Planning Region, Regional Chamber of Commerce, etc.
