Signed Contract for the purchase and transport of PE corrugated pipe for continuing construction of wastewater collector of Bregalnica Delchevo-serviska zone Dolni bavci – II phase

On 28.05.2014, at the Center for Development of East Planning Region, between the Centre for Development of East Planning Region and Company for manufacturing, trade, services and transport engineering KOD-INZENERING DOOEL Strumica, was signed a Contract for purchasing and transporting of PE corrugated pipe for sewage for continuing of the  construction of wastewater collector for city Delchevo on the right side of Bregalnitsa riveri, from Delcevo-serviska zone Dolni bavchi - II phase.

International Day of Biological Diversity in Macedonia

In order to increase understanding and awareness of biodiversit, 22nd of May has been declared as International Day of Biodiversity by the United Nations, and it is celebrated worldwide to mark the adoption of the Convention on 22 May 1992. This year the theme of the biodiversity day is so-called "Island Biodiversity" which refers to the unique ecosystems that often consist of a number of endemic plant and animal species, which are irreplaceable treasures.

The construction of multifunctional culture center was started

On May 16, 2014 (Friday) in the Municipality of Vinica officially started construction activities for reconstruction and conversion of the old "Turkish bath", in important multifunctional culural center. Mayor of Vinica municipality, Mr. Emil Donchev and Head of the Centre for Development of East Planning Region, Mrs. Dragica Zdraveva jointly inaugurated the begining of first construction activities, for which construction company DPTGU "Lady-2" LLC Vinica is engaged .

Signed Contract – Conversion and reconstruction of “Turska banјa” in the Municipality of Vinica

Centre for Development of Eastern Region on May 9, 2014 (Friday) signed Contract with DPTGU DAMA - 2 Doo Vinica for reconstruction and conversion of existing building “Turski banji”, in an important cultural center.  In the basement of the building is planned gallery for organizing exhibitions and exhibits of Vinica Kale with video surveillance equipment at the archaeological site “Vinica Kale”.

Ninth (IX) Session of the Council for the Development of Eastern Region

On May 9, 2014 (Friday) in the municipality of Makedonska Kamenica (Monastery complex "Pokrov na Sv. Bogorodica" in the area Elenec near the village Cera), starting at 1:00 pm, the ninth (IX) Session of the Council for the Development of East region was held.

On the session, despite the mayors of East Region and Centre for Development of Eastern Region, there were present the Mayor of the Municipality of Sveti Nikole Mr. Zoran Tasev, representatives of the company KALIOPA from Republic of Slovenia as implementers of the project "Establishment of Geographic Information System in municipalities in the East region"; then representatives of the company FARMAHEM Skopje as National Project Coordinator of the project "Program for Conservation of Nature in Macedonia (river Bregalnica)" , representatives of the project "Management with the river basin Bregalnica" and representatives of the Macedonian - Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce .
