Second regional forum session held

On December 26, 2022 (Monday), the second regional forum session was held in Hotel Izgrev – Shtip, for the selection of priority project proposals of the Eastern planning region, which would be applied for funding from the Program for balanced regional development for 2023 with indicative planned funds for 2024. At the second regional forum session, the participants were informed about the work done between the two sessions and the following 5 (five) proposal-concepts prepared by the Center for the Development of the Eastern Planning Region and the hired external expert were presented:

1. Installation of photovoltaic systems on public facilities in EPR;
2. Regulation of part of the bed of the river Bregalnica in the municipality of Delchevo;
3. Protection of the environment through the construction of fecal sewage in the village. Sokolarci, municipality of Cheshinovo-Obleshevo II phase;
4. Improving the conditions for the development of tourism in the EPR and
5. Enrichment of the tourist offer in the region.

The participants of the forum gave recommendations for improving the proposal-concepts and prioritized them with scoring by all 6 (six) working groups of the forum and the final ranking of the proposal-concepts by priority is as follows:

1. Installation of photovoltaic systems on public facilities in EPR;
2. Enrichment of the tourist offer in the region;
3. Improving the conditions for the development of tourism in the EPR;
4. Protection of the environment through the construction of fecal sewage in the village. Sokolarci, municipality of Cheshinovo-Obleshevo II phase and
5. Regulation of a part of the bed of the river Bregalnica in the municipality of Delchevo.
