{"id":10258,"date":"2025-09-26T19:09:44","date_gmt":"2025-09-26T17:09:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/eastregion.mk\/2025\/09\/26\/the-first-two-day-training-for-the-preparation-of-a-joint-strategy-for-green-infrastructure-2025-2035-was-held\/"},"modified":"2025-09-26T19:09:44","modified_gmt":"2025-09-26T17:09:44","slug":"the-first-two-day-training-for-the-preparation-of-a-joint-strategy-for-green-infrastructure-2025-2035-was-held","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/eastregion.mk\/en\/2025\/09\/26\/the-first-two-day-training-for-the-preparation-of-a-joint-strategy-for-green-infrastructure-2025-2035-was-held\/","title":{"rendered":"The first two-day training for the preparation of a Joint Strategy for Green Infrastructure (2025 &#8211; 2035) was held"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In the period from<strong> September 24 to 25, 2025<\/strong>, at Hotel IZGREV Shtip, <strong>the first two-day training<\/strong> for the development of a Joint Strategy for Green Infrastructure (2025 &#8211; 2035) for the East Planning Region and the Municipality of Gotse Delchev, Republic of Bulgaria, was held.<\/p>\n<p>The first two-day training was attended by about 30 representatives from public, educational and non-governmental organizations within the East Planning Region.<\/p>\n<p>The participants had the opportunity to get acquainted with the development methodology and the basic principles of the &#8220;<strong>green city<\/strong>&#8221; concept.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What is a green city, urban metabolism, nature-based solutions, as well as for a just urban transition.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Within the framework of the training, a special part was dedicated to the regulatory framework, policies, legislation, obligations and other processes.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Through interactive exercises, the participants developed a vision for the transformation of communities through sustainable and inclusive urban development and generated concrete ideas that can be incorporated into local and regional development strategic documents.<\/p>\n<p>The development of the first Green Infrastructure Strategy is funded within the framework of the project: <strong>\u201cTRANSFORMING URBAN AREAS WITH GREEN INFRASTRUCTURE\u201d ECOSCAPE BGMK0300060<\/strong>, financially supported by the Cross-Border Cooperation Programme Interreg-IPA Bulgaria-North Macedonia INTERREG VI-A IPA 2021-2027.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In the period from September 24 to 25, 2025, at Hotel IZGREV Shtip, the first two-day training for the development of a Joint Strategy for Green Infrastructure (2025 &#8211; 2035) for the East Planning Region and the Municipality of Gotse Delchev, Republic of Bulgaria, was held.
