For that purpose, representatives of the Centre for development of East Planning Region participated in the Seminar &#8220;Internal and external audit of EU funded programs and projects.&#8221; The seminar was held from 24-26 November Street in 2014 in Barcelona, Spain.<\/p>\n<p> \t<img decoding=\"async\" class=\" alignleft size-full wp-image-2596\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/eastregion.mk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/images_novosti_2014.12.22-1_barcelona_12.2014-2.jpg\" style=\"height: 188px; border-width: 1px; border-style: solid; width: 250px; margin: 5px; float: left;\" width=\"250\" height=\"188\" \/><\/p>\n<p> \tThe purpose of the seminar was the participants to gain a full overview and detailed understanding of the practical aspects of control and audit of EU funds in the programming period 2007-2013 and for the upcoming 2014-2020.<\/p>\n<p> \tThe seminar of representatives of the European Court of Auditors in charge of audit and EU programs and projects were presented following topics, experiences and views:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li> \t\tAudit and Control in the programming period 2014-2020, results, mechanisms, challenges and changes introduced in relation to the programming period 2007-2013,<\/li>\n<li> \t\tFraud protection and its role in the management and implementation process of the EU funds,<\/li>\n<li> \t\tOrganization of internal control in different models applied by users of EU structural funds. Success factors for effective system of internal control for greater absorption of EU funds,<\/li>\n<li> \t\t<img decoding=\"async\" class=\" alignright size-full wp-image-2598\" alt=\"\" class=\"cke-resize cke-resize\" src=\"https:\/\/eastregion.mk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/images_novosti_2014.12.22-1_barcelona_12.2014-3.jpg\" style=\"height: 188px; border-width: 1px; border-style: solid; width: 250px; margin: 5px; float: right;\" width=\"250\" height=\"188\" \/>External Audit &#8211; European Court of Auditors<\/li>\n<li> \t\tThe efficiency of the audit,<\/li>\n<li> \t\tReview of State Aid<\/li>\n<li> \t\tAudit of public procurement.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> \tAll these topics were presented through examples discovered how the frauds were deteced, as well as actions for solved cases.
