Stip held an informative event with the private sector of East Planning Region and other interested actors on &#8220;Co-financing grants for new start-ups &nbsp;spin-off for potential applicants.<\/p>\n<p> \t&#8220;The organizing of this type of events is an important step in support of the private sector ie SMEs, merchants \/ economic operators in the region, craftsmen, interested potential foreign and domestic investors and others.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p> \tThe main goal of the event is to increase the competitiveness of the planning region by supporting SMEs and entrepreneurship, which is also noted as a strategic priority in the development programe of the East Planning Region:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li> \t\t<img decoding=\"async\" class=\" alignright size-full wp-image-3321\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/eastregion.mk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/images_novosti_2016.06.30_2.jpg\" style=\"width: 250px; height: 188px; border-width: 1px; border-style: solid; margin: 5px; float: right;\" width=\"250\" height=\"188\" \/>Medium-term objective 1.<br \/> \t\t<em>(Economically developed region, widely recognized as attractive for investment)<\/em><em>;<\/em><br \/> \t\t&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li> \t\t<em>Priority 1.2.<\/em><br \/> \t\t<em>(Development of entrepreneurship and small business in the region)<\/em><em>;<\/em><br \/> \t\t&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li> \t\tMeasure 1.2.2.<br \/> \t\t<em>(<\/em><em>Support the businesses of high technology and creative industries);<\/em><br \/> \t\t&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li> \t\tMeasure 1.2.3.<br \/> \t\t<em>(Raising the capacity of businesses to access advanced funds)<\/em><em>;<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> \t<img decoding=\"async\" class=\" alignleft size-full wp-image-3323\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/eastregion.mk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/images_novosti_2016.06.30_3.jpg\" style=\"width: 250px; height: 188px; border-width: 1px; border-style: solid; margin: 5px; float: left;\" width=\"250\" height=\"188\" \/>The event was attended by representatives from SMEs, entrepreneurs, NGOs and foundations, unemployed, craftsmen, traders, members of clusters and networks and potential foreign and domestic investors.<\/p>\n<p> \tThe event was organized in cooperation with the Economic Chamber of Macedonia and the Innovation Fund.<\/p>\n<p> \tEvent with a greeting message and introductory speech was opened by Mrs. Dragica Zdravea, Director of the Centre for Development of East Planning Region.<\/p>\n<p> \tTopics at the event were:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li> \t\t<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" alignright size-full wp-image-3325\" alt=\"\" class=\"cke-resize\" src=\"https:\/\/eastregion.mk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/images_novosti_2016.06.30_4.jpg\" style=\"height: 124px;
