On 07/06/2022, Ambassador Hulmann of the Republic of Switzerland visited the Eastern Planning region to meet with stakeholders and enjoy the beautiful nature in this region.
R.Switzerland has been supporting the Eastern Region for more than 15 years, contributing to the improvement of water quality and the ecological condition of the region, sustainable management of natural resources, providing socio-economic benefits for the local population and raising public awareness of environmental issues. .
Some of the key results can already be seen – clean water in the Bregalnica river as a result of the wastewater treatment plant in Kochani, the sustainable production of honey in Meden Istok, the eco-ethno park Ceshinovo, as well as the protected area “Osogovski Planini”.
