The Ministry of Culture and Tourism has begun the process of developing a National Strategy for Tourism Development of the Republic of Macedonia for the period 2027 – 2032.
In order to include as many representatives of local and regional stakeholders from the Eastern Planning Region as possible in the planning process for the next 5 (five) year period, we invite you to actively participate in the first regional workshop that will be held on 03.07.2026 (Friday) at the Municipal Multimedia Center “Kiro Gligorov” – Shtip, starting at 11:00 am.
The goal of the workshop is to ensure the active involvement of representatives from all 11 (eleven) municipalities in the region in the creation of strategic directions for tourism development, through the identification of local potentials, challenges, priorities and development opportunities.
Your participation is of particular importance for the successful creation of a comprehensive and realistic National Strategy for Tourism Development that will reflect the needs and priorities at the local and regional level.
