Second session of the Council for development of the East planning region was held

On December 4, 2012, in the municipality of Kocani the second session of the Council for development of the East planning region was held.

At the session, a Decision was adopted for determining the Annual list of Proposed Projects for Development of the East Planning Region in 2018. The list includes projects: With young people in a common green future; Enrichment of the tourist offer by building a pedestrian bridge on the river Bregalnica in Delchevo; Preparation of technical documentation for energy efficiency of schools and kindergartens in 11 municipalities in the region and Construction of a part of Ul "1" in the industrial zone "Chukata" Pehcevo.

The meeting also discussed the obligations of the municipalities in accordance with the Agreement on Cooperation concluded between the Ministry of Local Self-Government and the founding municipalities of the Center for Development of the East Planning Region, as well as for the obligations of the municipalities on the basis of the Agreements for joint implementation of projects.

The meeting was attended by representatives of the Bureau for Regional Development.
