The Center for Development of the East Planning Region is continuing its activities through the Programme for Nature Conservation in Macedonia, a project of the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation, coordinated by Pharmahem.
The establishment of the ethno-eco park in the municipality of Cheshinovo-Oblesevo is one of the priorities in the Strategy for development of tourism in the East planning region and is recognized as a potential that is in accordance with the principles of the Programme for nature conservation in Macedonia – preserving the natural resources in Bregalnica region by promoting the principle of their sustainable management.
Through the realization of this project, two areas will be arranged in the municipality of Cheshinovo-Obleshevo, and this will be further arrangement of the existing park of the white stork in the village. Cheshinovo, and completely new surfaces in the village. Falcons.
The complexity of the project involves the installation of urban equipment, the installation of info houses and bird watchers, children's equipment at both locations, numerous activities in the form of soft measures aimed at reaching the local population, as well as support in the organization of the event " International Day of the Stork ".
It is expected that the construction works will be completed by May, so that they could be fully put into operation on "International Day of the Stork", an event that will be organized by Cheshinovo-Obleshevo municipality in June as a host of villages that enter the network of European villages of stork.
