The Center for Development of the East Planning Region continues with the realization of activities supported by the Program for Conservation of Nature in Macedonia, a project of the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation.
On July 9, 2019, a workshop on "Basic principles and components of eco-tourism" was held in the premises of the Cultural Center "Zletovsky Miner" in Probistip within the Coordinative Body for Tourism Development in the East Planning Region.
Expert support was provided by the Goce Delcev University in Shtip, focusing on defining the term "eco-tourism" and understanding the principles and components through which eco-tourism works worldwide.
The workshop was realized in order to strengthen the capacities of the employees in the local self-governments and the socially vulnerable categories within the East Planning Region.
