The Center for Development of East Planning Region continues to implement activities supported by the Nature Conservation Program in North Macedonia, a project of the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation.
On 22nd of November 2019 in Shtip was held the initial meeting for support of start-up businesses for development of eco-tourism and promotion of the East Planning Region as a tourist destination.
The meeting was attended by the applicants who were selected as eligible according to the application criteria, as well as the mentors who will guide the applicants through the business plan development process.
In the coming period, applicants will receive training in business plan development and the main challenges of doing business, with the final evaluation phase being followed by concept ideas with applicants whose business plans will prove to be sustainable and feasible.
The main objective of this activity is to strengthen cooperation with the private sector by supporting start-up businesses in the direction of developing eco-tourism and promoting the region as a tourist destination, in line with the Tourism Development Strategy in the East Planning Region with an Action Plan (2016-2025).
