The Center for Development of the East Planning Region on 30.08.2021 in the National Reading Room “Georgi Todorov 1885” in the municipality of Belica held the final press conference on the project “Cultural Bridge through the Centuries”. The final press conference was attended by representatives of the project team, municipality of Belica, media, as well as representatives of the project partner from the municipality of Stip, Republic of Macedonia.
At the final press conference were presented the realized activities of the project, as well as the results of the conducted trainings and workshops. The Mayor of the Municipality of Belica Mr. Radoslav Revanski, the Mayor of the Municipality of Stip Dr. Sashko Nikolov and the Mayor of the Municipality of Kocani Mr. Nikolcho Iliev cut the red ribbon for the opening of the newly reconstructed National School “Georgi Todorov 1885” in Belica.
The visitors visited the National Reading Room, and had the opportunity to explore Belica through the Information Kiosk located in the National Reading Room.
The host of the event took the guests from Macedonia for a walk in the Dancing Bear Park as well as in the Rila Fun park.
The project “Cultural Bridge through the Centuries” is co-financed by the European Union within the INTERREG IPA Cross-Border Cooperation Program Bulgaria – S. Macedonia, was realized in a period of 24 months, with a total budget of about 400,000 euros.
