Regional Fair for Social Entrepreneurship in the East Planning Region

The Center for development of the East planning region as a regional point for support of social enterprises, on November 18 (Thursday) on the City square in Stip organized the first Regional fair of social enterprises from the East region.

At the fair, organized by the project “Support to Social Enterprises”, 20 social enterprises and civil society organizations engaged in some economic activity presented their products and services.

The project “Support to Social Entrepreneurship”, supported by the European Union, has a very important role in implementing the concept of social entrepreneurship as a tool for social inclusion and sustainable local development in the country. The project is implemented by Eptisa, in consortium with Barka and Ecoris, in cooperation with the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy.

The fair is part of a series of promotional events for social enterprises that will be held in all regions across the country.

The info meeting was attended by the Mayor of Stip Mr. Ivan Jordanov, Mrs. Barbara Sadovska, team leader of the project, the head of CRIPR Mrs. Zujica Angelova as well as representatives of the local self-governments, public institutions from the region, social enterprises, NGOs and fig.
