The Center for the Development of the Eastern Planning Region implements the project “Installation of photovoltaic systems on public facilities in the Eastern Planning Region”, which is financed by the program for financing projects for the development of the regions for the year 2023 with indicative planned funds for the year 2024, and financed by the municipalities of Shtip, Karbinci, Kochani, Vinica and Makedonska Kamenica, partners in the project.
After conducting the Public Procurement procedure, the offer of TM LLC – Shtip was chosen as the most favorable. On April 2, 2024, an agreement was signed whereby photovoltaic systems with a total power of about 600 mwh will be installed on 12 public buildings in the five municipalities of the Eastern planning region. The value of the contract is MKD 13,700,228.00.
The works are expected to be completed by the end of September 2024. With the installation of photovoltaic systems, the electricity bills of these facilities will be reduced and at the same time it will contribute to the protection of the environment and the reduction of global warming.
