The implementation of the project “Enhancing regional and local hubs for attraction and retention of talents and investments – MAGNET.” has begun

The Center for Development of the Eastern Planning Region has begun the implementation of a new project co-financed by the European Union, which is being implemented for the first time under the Interreg Europe program.

The project “Enhancing regional and local hubs for attraction and retention of talents and investments – MAGNET” is coordinated by the Municipality of Reggio Emilia from Italy and is implemented in cooperation with 5 other partner organizations from 5 countries of the European Union.

The MAGNET project focuses on regional and local hubs for attracting and retaining investments and talents, which are strategic points of contact that provide services and tools to support the competitiveness of small and medium-sized enterprises and territorial development. The services range from facilitation and incentives to value propositions and stakeholder engagement.

The partners of this project strongly agree that the integration/interconnection of services and tools for investment and attracting/retaining talents leads to improved economic growth with a positive impact on employment, with a skilled workforce in relation to the needs of strategic value chains.

The project foresees activities for the exchange of knowledge and experiences with European partners that should result in the improvement of regional strategic documents related to improving the innovation ecosystem, supporting entrepreneurship and attracting talents and investments and will be implemented by 31.07.2029.
