Within the framework of the project: “Sustainable and Inclusive Balanced Regional Development – Phase II”, the Center for Development of the East Planning Region, represented by Director Trajce Zdravov, attended the International Conference on Regional Development “Regional Development in a Dynamically Changing World – The Future Begins Locally: The New Vision for Sustainable and Balanced Development”, which was held in Gevgelija from July 8 to 9.
The conference was opened by the Prime Minister of the Republic of North Macedonia – Prof. Dr. Hristijan Mickovski, the Minister of Local Self-Government, MA Zlatko Perinski, and the Ambassador of Switzerland to the Republic of North Macedonia – H.E. Veronique Hulmann.
The conference featured four panels dedicated to fair growth, stronger regions, financing for sustainable development and digital transformation – with the participation of ministers, mayors, experts and practitioners.
At the same time, the Center for Development of the East Planning Region was awarded recognition by Minister Zlatko Perinski for its contribution to providing conditions for a better quality of life for the elderly through the successful implementation of the project “Reconstruction of the Dr. Ivan Vlashki Nursing Home” in Berovo.
