Due to changes in the scope of the first signed agreement as a result of objective reasons on the ground, the Center for Development of the Eastern Planning Region secured consent from the Bureau for Regional Development for further use of the approved funds and concluded a second agreement for the construction of pedestrian and bicycle paths on Lake Berovo within the framework of the project “Enrichment of the tourist offer in the Eastern Planning Region”.
The path near the Vip hotel is getting its final form and content, and the tourist destination of Lake Berovo will be supplemented with the construction of a path that will connect it to the tourist settlement of Ablanica.
This project envisages clearing the terrain and its improvement, placing information boards and signposts, waste bins, as well as the construction of wooden crossings to improve the mobility of visitors along the 3.9 km path.
The total value of the project is around 2.4 million denars with a deadline for implementation no later than 30.09.2025.
