On July 9, 2018, in the premises of the Government of the Republic of Macedonia, an Agreement was signed for realization of projects for development of the planning regions for 2018. The projects are financed by the Programme for Balanced Regional Development of the Ministry of Local Self-Government and the Bureau for Regional Development, totaling 196 million denars.
Through this Programme, two projects will be financed in the East Planning Region: for the construction of a kindergarten and the construction of a pedestrian bridge on the river Bregalnica.
For the construction of the kindergarten in the settlement Senjak in the Municipality of Stip, a contract for joint realization with the Mayor Blagoj Bocvarski was signed. In addition to the funds from the national budget, co-financing by the municipality in the amount of 55% is also provided in the total budget for the implementation of the project.
The construction of a pedestrian bridge on the river Bregalnica in the municipality of Delchevo will also be realized with funds from the national budget and by co-financing the municipality in the amount of 14%. This project will begin with realization after the completion of the award procedure public procurement contract for the construction of kindergarten in the Municipality Stip.
The realization of these projects will contribute to encouraging the development of the municipalities and the planning regions and opening new perspectives of the citizens.
