Training on “Utilization of digital tools to promote and attract tourists”

The Center for Development of the East Planning Region in the period 15-16.06.2021 organized a two-day training on “Utilization of digital tools for promotion and attraction of tourists”, second part of activity 3 – Program for capacity building of representatives of local governments and tourism sector for the opportunities arising from the use of digital technologies.

This training is supported by the project “Our common past – a path to a common future” which is co-financed by the European Union through the INTERREG IPA Cross-Border Cooperation Program Bulgaria-Macedonia.

Through the two-day training, the participants had the opportunity to learn about the benefits of modern technologies to improve the tourist experience and increase the number of tourists, as well as to get acquainted with the web platform and mobile application that were developed within the project activities.

The training included about twenty participants from both sides of the border, who attended the training with a separate physical presence, interconnected with virtual communication tools. The lecturer of the training was out. prof. dr. Dejan Metodijeski from the University “Goce Delchev” from Stip.
