The Center for the Development of the East Planning Region and SD Trans from village Zvegor near Delchevo, on January 10, 2023, signed an Agreement for “Rehabilitation of the road in m.v. Dolni Bavci in the municipality of Delchevo with a length of 1000 meters and a width of 4.5 meters”, which is part of the project “Improving the rural road infrastructure through the construction of access roads in the areas with agricultural activity and arable land in the East Planning Region”.
The rehabilitation of this agricultural road will give farmers easier access to 500 ha of arable land. Otherwise, the road in m.v. Dolni Bavci connects the industrial part of the city with the arable land, which is overgrown with vegetation, the base is made of earth and becomes impassable during rains. The contract provides for its cleaning, expansion, and buffering.
The value of the Agreement is 1,170,855.00 MKD including VAT and it should be completed by the middle of April 2023.
The funds for the implementation of this project have been provided by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management from the “Program for capital subsidies for the development of planning regions in the field of agriculture and rural development for 2021”.
