The Center for the Development of the Eastern Planning Region started the implementation of the project “Improvement of the situation with the irrigation and drainage canals and cascades of the Zrnovska Reka”, co-financed by the Ministry of Local Self-Government – Regional Development Bureau through the Program for Balanced Regional Development for 2022 with an indicative planned funds for 2023 and the Municipality of Zrnovci.
On February 10, 2023, in the municipality of Zrnovci, the contract for the execution of construction works for the implementation of the project was signed with the contractor Stoimenov DOOEL Kočani with a total value of the contract of 9,474,207.00 denars including VAT.
The project envisages the construction of auxiliary channels for irrigation and cascades, namely:
- Vinica Vada in length of 1450 meters;
- Moroška vada in length of 850 meters and
- Construction of three cascades on the Zrnovka river.
The project should be implemented by August 10, 2023 at the latest.
