The Center for the Development of the Eastern Planning Region started the implementation of the project “Improvement of tourist signage and infrastructure in the Eastern Planning Region – Electrification, fencing and installation of tourist signage at the Bargala archaeological site“, co-financed by the Ministry of Local Self-Government – Regional Development Bureau through The program for balanced regional development for 2022 with indicative planned funds for 2023 and the Municipality of Karbinci.
On February 22, 2023, in the municipality of Karbintsi, the contract for carrying out construction works for the realization of the project was signed with the contractor TM DOO Shtip with a total value of the contract of MKD 6,026,719.00 including VAT, the contracts for carrying out archaeological and conservation supervision with the NU Institute for the Protection of Cultural Monuments and Museum – Stip, which officially put the Contractor into operation.
The project envisages:
- Installation of electrical decorative lighting at the Bargala archaeological site;
- Fencing of the Bargala archaeological site and
- Installation of 19 information boards throughout the locality.
The project should be implemented by August 22, 2023 at the latest.
