Agrometeorological stations for the protection of agricultural crops in the region in the EPR

The Center for the Development of the Eastern Planning Region has signed an agreement for the installation of Agrometeorological stations for the protection of agricultural crops in the region, whereby by the end of November 2020 one station will be installed in each municipality in the IPR. The project has a value of MKD 2,169,000.00 through the Program for Sustainable and Inclusive Balanced Regional Development, financed by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation and the Ministry of Local Self-Government.

After the installation of the stations, the information campaign for the use of the agrometeorological stations and constant information of the farmers will be carried out through :

• Informative presentations – in each municipality after they have been set up the stations.
• Information presentation – during the season after the disease forecast models are launched
• Sponsored ads on social networks;
• Mobile application in Macedonian language;
• A web platform available to all farmers;
