The Business Center within the Center for the Development of the Eastern Planning Region, organizes training on the use and dissemination of information from Agrometeorological stations on 23.09.2020 (Wednesday) in h. Izgrev Shtip.
Such Agrometeorological stations for the protection of agricultural crops and the environment in IPR were set up in all municipalities of the region.
With these agrometeorological stations, farmers will be provided with information on the timely protection of agricultural crops from atmospheric influences, as well as to plan all agrotechnical measures that should be taken in a certain period of the year. The devices containing the stations will measure air temperature and humidity, wind speed and direction, precipitation amount, solar radiation, plant leaf moisture, as well as soil temperature and moisture. A web platform is being developed through which farmers will receive information about the possible occurrence of plant diseases under the influence of weather conditions.
The project’s funds are provided through the Program for Sustainable and Inclusive Balanced Regional Development, financed by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation and the Ministry of Local Self-Government.
