The fourth workshop for the preparation of a Joint Strategy for Green Infrastructure (2025 – 2035) was held

On September 12, 2025, the fourth workshop for the preparation of a Joint Strategy for Green Infrastructure was held at the Izgrev Hotel in Shtip within the framework of the project “TRANSFORMING URBAN AREAS WITH GREEN INFRASTRUCTURE” EcoScape BGMK0300060.

The workshop was attended by 35 participants from various institutions and organizations within the Eastern Planning Region, who contributed to the fulfillment of the objectives of the workshop.

The aim of the fourth joint workshop was to present tools, techniques and good practices for active public involvement in the processes of preparing the Joint Strategy for Green Infrastructure, identifying and mapping stakeholders, defining indicators and methodology for monitoring the implementation of the strategy and establishing mechanisms for reporting and evaluating results and monitoring.

The planning and implementation of the workshop took into account the principles of gender equality, age structure, ethnicity, transparency, participation, digitalization and environmental protection.

The development of the first Green Infrastructure Strategy was financed within the framework of the project: “TRANSFORMING URBAN AREAS WITH GREEN INFRASTRUCTURE” ECOSCAPE BGMK0300060, financially supported by the Cross-Border Cooperation Programme Interreg-IPA Bulgaria-North Macedonia INTERREG VI-A IPA 2021-2027.
