First Regional Workshop
The Centre for Development of the Eastern Planning Region invites you to participate in the First Regional Workshop for the preparation of the Development Programme for the Eastern Planning Region for the 2027–2031 period. The workshop will take place on November 6, 2026 (Friday), starting at 10:00 AM, at Hotel “Izgrev” in Štip.
The objective of this first regional workshop is to assess the current situation in the Eastern Planning Region and to define the desired state for the region by 2031.
The workshop will bring together representatives from the municipalities within the Eastern Planning Region, public institutions, the non-governmental and private sectors, and other interested stakeholders.
The Final Evaluation Report and key conclusions regarding the Development Programme for the Eastern Planning Region (2021–2026) will be presented to the participants.
Additionally, draft sectoral analyses, along with key conclusions and findings concerning specific thematic areas, will be presented.
Through group work, participants will identify priority strategic areas for the Development Programme for the Eastern Planning Region (2027–2031) and collaboratively define the vision for the Eastern Planning Region for the upcoming programming period. The process of drafting the Development Program for the Eastern Planning Region (2027–2031) is supported by the Ministry of Local Self-Government through the project “Sustainable and Inclusive Balanced Regional Development – Phase II,” implemented with the support of the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation.
