Тhe seventh regular meeting of the Council for Development of the East Planning Region

On 22.12.2009 (Tuesday), the seventh regular meeting of the Council for Development of the East Planning Region took place in the hall of the Municipality of Makedonska Kamenica.

At the meeting they discussed the implementation phase of the activities foreseen in the Action Plan for the establishment of inter-municipal (regional) public enterprise (IPE) for waste management in the East planning region. The conclusion is that the next step of the Action Plan is registration of IPE “DEPOSIT East”. 

Next step was signing of the agreement of mutual rights and obligations of the founders of the IPE for waste management.

The manager of the Centre for Development of the East Planning Region informed the Council members that within the programme “Attractive planning regions” and the Programme for balanced and sustainable regional development for 2009, 9 regional projects of the Centre will be financed.

On this meeting the Mayors adopted a decision to continue with the activities for enrolling the East Planning Region in the Assembly of European region – AER. 

The programme for development of East (Bregalnica) planning region 2009-2013 was adopted, and also the Financial plan of the Centre for Development of the East Planning Region for 2010.

The Council adopted the Proposal of the Centre for Development of the East Planning Region based on previously gathered information from municipalities in the region, to prepare a draft Pricelist for land offered by each municipality in the region, i.e. the amount of compensation for individual housing, collective housing, commercial and business activities, commercial and manufacturing facilities, facilities of public institutions, facilities for sport and recreation and infrastructure facilities and lines, the central area, off-central area and settlements.
