On 10.12.2020 (Thursday), the nineteenth (XIX) Session of the Council for the Development of the Eastern Planning Region was held, which, due to the emerging state of emergency at the global level, COVID 19, was conducted online through the Zoom virtual platform.
A key point of the XVIII Session of the Council for the Development of the Eastern Planning Region was the presentation of the results of the Second Forum Session and the ranking of the concept solutions according to the priorities of the citizens of the Eastern Planning Region, the sixth step of the concept for regional community forums, a tool for identification, prioritization and preparation of projects for funding from the Program for Balanced Regional Development for 2021, managed through the Ministry of Local Self-Government and the Bureau for Regional Development.
The engaged external expert, Denis Zernovski, made a presentation of the feasibility of each of the concept-solutions from an administrative-legal and financial aspect, i.e. he made a cost-effectiveness analysis, using the “best value for money” method.
Based on this analysis, the Council for the Development of the Eastern Planning Region unanimously determined the Annual list of proposed projects for the development of the Eastern Planning Region in 2021:
- City market in Delchevo – open and closed part – II phase;
- Lighting of a part of the A3 highway that passes through Makedonska Kamenica;
- Enrichment of the contents for recreation in the Eastern region – Smart and adventure parks in the municipalities of Shtip Kochani;
- Improvement of the infrastructure for the development of tourism – local road in Berovo and improvement of Lesnovo locality.
