“Visionary workshop” held in the East Planning Region

On March 24, 2022, in Hotel Izgrev in Stip, the first series “Vision workshops” was held to create the National Development Strategy, in order to draw the future of our country.

Through these workshops, every citizen is given the opportunity to be directly involved in the process of creating a common vision for the development of our country in the period until 2042.

The following topics were covered at the workshop:

• INFRASTRUCTURE (Transport infrastructure, water management and water infrastructure, information and communication technologies and broadband infrastructure, spatial planning)
• ENVIRONMENT AND ENERGY (environment, climate change, biodiversity, energy system, waste management)
• GROWTH (Trade and Competitiveness, Rule of Law, Economic Development, Public Financing and Fiscal Policy, Agriculture, Tourism, Culture)

The workshop was massively attended by about 200 participants, of different ages, ethnic and religious backgrounds, education, municipality, etc.
