On July 18, 2022, an information event was held at the Club of Deputies in Skopje, organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Slovenia and the Secretariat for European Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia. Macedonia, in connection with the published call for project proposals within the framework of bilateral development cooperation between the Republic of North Macedonia and the Republic of Slovenia. At the event, the Director of the Center for International Cooperation and Development of the Republic of Slovenia, Mrs. Mojca Kopša, the Head of the Department for Development and Humanitarian Aid at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia, Mr. Robert Kokalj, and the opening address was given by Mrs. Drita Abdiou Halili, State Secretary at the Secretariat for European Affairs. The Republic of North Macedonia and the Republic of Slovenia have successful bilateral development cooperation, within the framework of which numerous technical cooperation activities have been carried out, related to the support of the European integration process, as well as significant infrastructure projects aimed at the advancement and support of socio-economic life. Such cooperation continues in the future with the possibility of supporting and co-financing projects in North Macedonia that will contribute to our development goals. At the same time, an agreement was signed between the municipality of Ohrid and CMRS for Slovenian co-financing of the renovation of the Ohrid filter station.
