With the signing of the contract for the performance of works, the Center for the Development of the Eastern Planning Region officially began the implementation of the activity for the reconstruction of the Crn Vrv mountain lodge in the Municipality of Probishtip.
The facility is currently in poor condition, but after the implementation of this project it will be completely renovated. The existing appearance and layout will be maintained, with a ground floor and an attic. The ground floor will have a dining room and a small kitchen, and the first floor will have a sleeping area and space for holding smaller workshops or meetings. The mountain lodge has a capacity to accommodate ten visitors and will be fully equipped for a longer stay. It is planned to install a new roof structure, an energy-efficient facade and new carpentry. The facility will also receive a solar system for the use of renewable energy, a 2000 liter water tank, a gasoline generator and a prefabricated toilet. At the same time, urban equipment will be installed in the courtyard of the facility in the form of a gazebo, benches and tables, and mountaineering equipment will be purchased in the form of hiking poles, sleeping bags, hammocks and tents.
With this investment, the Osogovo Mountains will become an even more attractive place for mountaineers, cyclists and nature lovers. The reconstruction of the home will contribute not only to the development of tourism, but also to the preservation and promotion of the natural wealth of the region.
The total value of the investment is approximately 5,300,000.00 denars with additional funds provided by the Municipality of Probishtip of approximately 725,000.00 denars. The selected contractor for the construction works is Eurogradba Engineering and it should complete the construction works by the end of 2026.
The reconstruction of the mountain lodge will be implemented within the framework of the project “Integrated development of recognizable cultural and close-to-nature tourism in the Eastern Planning Region and Blagoevgrad Region”, which is funded by the European Union and the Ministry of Local Self-Government, within the framework of the Interreg VI-A IPA program for cross-border cooperation with Bulgaria.
