The Center for Development of the Eastern Planning Region has begun the implementation of the project for the construction of pedestrian and bicycle paths on Lake Berovo, which is being implemented within the framework of the project “Enrichment of the tourist offer in the Eastern Planning Region”.
The project is financed by the Program for Balanced Regional Development for 2023 with indicatively planned funds for 2024 by the Ministry of Local Self-Government.
The project envisages the construction of two pedestrian and bicycle paths: on Lake Berovo and near the Vip Hotel.
The activities include clearing the terrain, making stairs for easier movement through the terrain and installing urban equipment such as information boards, signposts, benches and waste bins.
The total value of the project is around 3.2 million denars, and the contractor Gradeznik Ing should complete the field activities no later than 30.09.2025.
