On 10 July 2014 on the summer scene on the town square in Pehchevo was launched the fourth edition of the Festival Brass band Pehchevo 2014th. Program at the scene of the city square was opened by majorettes from Blagoevgrad and Simitli, Rrpublic of Bulgaria. The audience was amused by performance of Ensemble and KUD “Jane Sandanski” from Pehchevo (last year’s winner of festival Pehcevo Uska Kan) and orchestra from Surdulica (Republic of Serbia), and also with performances of folk stars Aneta and group Mura.
Pehchevo Festival is the only festival of its kind in the country, and the quality of the instrumentalists who perform, imposes a serious competition brass trumpets festival in Guca, Serbia. The fact that the Pehchevo winners in 2011, Orchestra Jumbo Agushev in 2013 the orchestra Uskana Cannes, won the golden trumpet of Guca world.
The festival was opened by the Mayor Igor Popovski, who noted that the Municipality Pehchevo the fourth time is the organizer of the only festival in the country dedicated to the tradition of brass instruments _ orchestras, which aims to preserve this tradition, to capture the virtuosity of the instrumentalists and allow affirmation of orchestras who always know how to make good entertainment.
The program of the festival of brass orchestras Pehchevo 2014 was filled with playing children from kindergarten,”7th September”, local singers, brass orchestras Berhran from Stip, Durak of Crnik-Pehchevo and Uskana Khan Berovo, wind orchestra Jumbo Agushev, folk singer Catherine Tanevska and the group Neli ti rekov and Dj Ti Si and Dj Marek from republic of Bulgaria. That party lasted until the early morning hours.
