“Support regional economic development, achievements and vision for the future” of the Programme for Regional Economic Development in Macedonia (GIZ RED)

The Regional Economic Development in Macedonia (GIZ RED), which is implemented by the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ) supports balanced regional development in Republic of Macedonia from 2008.

On December 2, 2014 (Tuesday), starting at 11:00 am at the Hotel “AleKSander Palace” Skopje, GIZ RED presented successes, experiences and achievements of past work, with special emphasis on the future of GIZ RED ProgramME and new models for the management of regional development in the Republic of Macedonia.

Within the event was organized an Expo of the Centre for Development of East Planning Region in Macedonia exposure amd promotion of the projects “Construction of Sport Recreation Center” Bregalnitsa in municipality of Stip and “Building a home for elderly people” municipality of Kocani funded by GIZ RED by Grant scheme conditional performance (PBG Grand Schema), amounting 50.000.00v euros for the East Planning region.

The event brings together senior representatives of government ministries, international organizations, mayors, centers for development of planning regions, business sector, NGOs and media.
