Signed agreement for developing a regional program with proposal of action plan and communication strategy for the development and support of the private sector in coordination with other entities in the East Planning Region

The Center for Development of East Planning Region on March 3, 2015 signed Contract for preparation of regional programme with proposal of action plan and communication strategy for the development and support of the private sector in coordination with other entities in the East Planning Region.

This is one of the activities within the project “Establishment of Business Center for support and consulting services for small and medium enterprises in the East Planning Region” which is funded by the Ministry of Local Government and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).

The Company for consultancy and services Gestalt Solutions DOO Stip is the economic operator which in coordination with the Business Center at the Center for Development of East Planning Region will prepare the regional programme with proposal of action plan and communication strategy for the development and support of the private sector in coordination with other entities in the East Planning Region.

The East Planning Region lacks detailed and unified Programme for development and support of the private sector. Therefore the main reason for the implementation of this activity is to develop the “Regional Programme (including the proposed action plan and communication strategy) for the development and support of the private sector in coordination with other entities in the Easte Planning Region (EPR) “containing two components in itself (1) a detailed draft action plan for support, training, coaching and networking of legal entities of the East Planning Region, encouraging entrepreneurship among young and women in the region, innovation, etc .; (2) Communication strategy (part of the regional programme) with the main objective to provide transparency of implementation and measure the effects of the implementation of the objectives and measures mentioned in the regional programme. Simultaneously, communication strategy will help all participants and winners of this regional programme to become aware of their role in the implementation of the programme.

The main goal of this activity is to improve the economic situation of the private sector in the East Region by developing a plan to support the private sector by the Business Center of the Eastern Region. Program to work with draft – Action Plan that will be the result of understanding the needs of stakeholders and key stakeholders in this region.

Specific objectives of the project activity:

1. Preparing of Regional programme (for five years) to develop and support the private sector in East Planning Region which in its composition will include:
   • Action (draft) plan outlining the activities, timeframe, stakeholders and funding for one year;
   • Communication strategy with all stakeholders and the promotion of the Business center of the East Planning Region;
2. Presentation of Regional program with draft action plan and communication strategy for development and support of private sector in coordination with other stakeholders in the East Planning Region (EPR).
