The Center for Development of the East Planning Region in the period April-May 2021 within the project “Our common past – a path for a common future” organized a series of trainings for sustainable use of culture for tourism development.
The trainings were organized together with the partners from the municipality of Goce Delchev from R. Bulgaria focused on strengthening the capacity of local governments and cultural institutions in the Eastern region to create an integrated tourist offer with an appropriate interpretation of cultural heritage.
The trainings were organized in two sessions of two days, with interactive work, in accordance with all health protocols and measures, in a combined way of working with physical presence and virtual means of communication, in which a total of 40 participants from the cross- border region took part.
The project “Our common past – a path to a common future” is funded by the European Union through the INTERREG IPA Cross-Border Cooperation Program Bulgaria – Macedonia.
