The constitutive session for establishing the municipal board for waste management in the East Planning Region

On 10.02.2022 (Thursday) in the Municipal multimedia center “Kiro Gligorov” in Stip, was held the Constitutive session for establishment of the Inter-municipal board for waste management in the East planning region. The Inter-Municipal Waste Management Board consists of the mayors of the municipalities from the East Planning Region and the Mayor of the Municipality of Sveti Nikole.

Immediately after the constitution of the Inter-Municipal Board, the election of the Chairman of the Board was started. The Mayor of the Municipality of Karbinci, Mr. Viktor Paunov, was elected Chairman of the Inter-Municipal Board. The mandate of the Chairman is one year.

After the election of the Chairman, the first session of the Inter-Municipal Board was approached, at which information was provided on:

1. The state and the degree of realization of the projects for establishment of an integrated waste management system in the East planning region;
2. The procedure for registration and establishment of the Joint Public Enterprise for Regional Waste Management ZJPRUO “EKO EAST-NORTHEAST” Sveti Nikole;
3. The situation for liquidation of the Inter-Municipal Public Enterprise for Waste Management in the East Planning Region Landfill ISTOK Stip – appointed lawyer Dragan Panevski from Sveti Nikole and others.
