Info session for sharing experiences and lessons learned from the piloting of the constitution of the Social Protection Council in a planning region

The Center for Development of the East Planning Region within the project “Sustainable and inclusive balanced regional development” funded by the Swiss Confederation and the Ministry of Local Self-Government, organized an info session to share experiences and lessons learned from piloting the constitution of the Social Protection Council in one planning region.

The establishment of Social Protection Councils is planned to be realized in all planning regions in the country, in accordance with the Law on Social Protection.

The info session was attended by representatives from each municipality within the planning region, as well as all directors of the centers for social work in the area of ​​the East planning region.

The purpose of the info session was to present the ways and steps that will precede the establishment of the regional council for social protection, to present the necessary documents that will need to be prepared, as well as to acquaint the stakeholders with the responsibilities and tasks for the establishment and functioning on such advice.
