The Center for Development of the Eastern Planning Region continues to implement the process for the development of the first Joint Strategy for Green Infrastructure (2025 – 2035) for the Eastern Planning Region and the Municipality of Goce Delchev.
The purpose of the second workshop, which was held on May 28, 2025 (Wednesday) at Hotel “OAZA” – Shtip, was to introduce the participants to the concept of SWOT analysis and they worked in groups to develop a SWOT analysis.
During the working day, the participants defined problems, strengths and weaknesses, opportunities and threats. A special part was dedicated to defining a long-term vision for the Eastern Planning Region. The process will continue with the determination of the main strategic areas, goals and priorities of the Joint Strategy for Green Infrastructure (2025 – 2035) for the Eastern Planning Region and the Municipality of Goce Delchev.
The development of the first Green Infrastructure Strategy is funded within the project: “TRANSFORMING URBAN AREAS WITH GREEN INFRASTRUCTURE” ECOSCAPE BGMK0300060, supported by the Cross-Border Cooperation Programme Interreg-IPA Bulgaria-North Macedonia INTERREG VI-A IPA 2021-2027.
